This image is of an mid instar.

It arrived in the UK in the 1980's from the European continent, and is common in southern and central Enngland. Overall distribution for Lincolnshire not known.

The series of images for this species were taken in Boultham Park, (Lawson's Cypress), and from a front garden on Westwick Drive, Boultham Moor, (Leylandii), both sites within the Lincoln City boundary.
